Professional Dedication

I have been practicing orthodontics for almost 30 years, and I still love coming to work every day. My father was a dentist, and I learned as a young boy the value of exceptional patient care. Each patient I see presents a different clinical challenge as well as an opportunity for a personal connection. I enjoy taking the time to know each person I serve, and giving them a positive orthodontic experience.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing patients at a young age, so that the most appropriate treatment can be done at the right time in their development. Getting the timing right is one of the most challenging parts of orthodontics, and it is truly rewarding when I know a patient has received the optimal level of care. My training and experience as a paediatric dentist before becoming an orthodontist enhanced my interest in guiding the development of the young person's teeth, jaws and face.

Family Life

I am originally from Melbourne, and have lived in Camberwell for over 20 years. My wife is a paediatric dentist practicing adjacent to our office. Together, we have two adult children. One is a lawyer, and the other is studying medicine. In my spare time, I like to keep fit by running, and have completed 10 marathons. I am also active in our community, and my practice supports local sporting teams and a junior choir, as well as a charity for disadvantaged and homeless youth.
